Job Description
Step into the role of Senior Mechanic at our Etobicoke Head Office. This full-time position offers robust hourly pay and involves extensive repair work on heavy equipment.
This position reports to the Shop Manager, requiring remote troubleshooting, timely repairs, and compliance with safety protocols. Ideal candidates have substantial experience in mechanical repairs and will enjoy mentoring apprentices while ensuring equipment performs reliably on and off the road.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and adjust hydraulic and mechanical components
• Diagnose issues in gasoline and diesel-powered units
• Test and maintain efficiency of repaired equipment
• Communicate any accidents or unsafe conditions
• Supervise and mentor apprentice mechanics in shop
