Job Description
In this role you will:
• Manage, monitor, and maintain OnPrem Teradata hardware/software including patches,
replacements, and upgrades with support from Teradata.
• Support data governance, metadata management, and system administration
• Plan and execute tasks required to ensure the Teradata system is operational including
occasional evening and weekend support for Teradata maintenance.
• Provide direction to developers on Operational, Design, Development, and Implementation
projects to ensure best use of the Teradata system including review/approval of database
components (such as tables, views, SQL code, stored procedures).
• Performing database backup and recovery operations – using the BAR DSA and NetBackup.
• Developing proactive processes for monitoring capacity and performance tuning.
