Job Description
VHIR is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Gene Therapy for Nervous System Research Group. Our group focuses on the study of the molecular mechanisms involved in environment-related cognitive deficits and Alzheimer's disease, using animal models of Alzheimer's and of healthy aging to test new therapeutic proteins.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Perform in vitro and in vivo experiments with gene therapy vectors.
Bioinformatic analysis of data generated from transcriptomic and proteomic studies.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor degree in Biotechnology, in Biomedicine, or similar
Master in Bioinformatics or similar
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (professional proficiency)
