Senior Kafka Engineer / Solution Designer

Euroclear is expanding its enterprise event streaming capabilities and is building a corporate Kafka-based Event Streaming Service. We are looking for a senior Kafka engineer who can combine solution design, hands-on engineering, and operational expertise to help shape, evaluate, and enable this strategic platform.

The role sits within Euroclear’s Group Technology Services division, in the Communication and Integration Services (CIS) squad. In this position, you will help design, assess, and enable the target event streaming platform, working closely with engineering teams, enterprise architecture, and key stakeholders across the organisation. Your main responsibilities will include:

Evaluate and compare implementation options for the enterprise event streaming service, including platform, deployment, and operating model choices.

Work with Enterprise Architecture to define, analyse, and document event-driven architecture patterns and target solution designs.
