Job Description
India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Senior IBM i (AS400) Support Engineer to support a business‑critical legacy ERP system during an ongoing transition to Microsoft Business Central.
Location: Spain, onsite at client premises. Work model: 3 days onsite (mandatory), up to 2 days remote (flexible).
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support & Maintenance
- Provide hands‑on support for the IBM i (AS400) ERP system.
- Handle day‑to‑day maintenance activities and minor enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve system issues, blocks, and performance‑related challenges.
- Ensure system stability during the migration phase.
- User Support (Level 1 / Level 2)
- Act as a primary point of contact for business users.
- Resolve day‑to‑day issues such as access rights/permissions, password resets, functional queries, and system errors or transaction failures.
- Provide quick turnaround on operational requests.
