Job Description
Join a telecommunications team as a Senior Developer specializing in IBM i (AS400/iSeries). This contract role requires strong development skills along with onsite collaboration 2-3 days weekly.
This opportunity is for skilled developers with over 8 years of experience in IBM i environments. Candidates should excel in RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, COBOL, SQL, and DB2 for i, and have familiarity with development tools like RDi and GitHub Copilot. A background in telecommunications billing will be an advantage for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain legacy applications and batch processing systems
• Provide production support and troubleshooting expertise
• Collaborate effectively within the telecom domain team
• Use development tools including RDi, VS Code, and Implementer (MKS)
• Communicate clearly and lead technical planning efforts
