1. Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses. 2. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. 3. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures. 4. Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports. 5. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. 6. Review stores sales ledgers and follow up on any exceptions to assure the accuracy of sales and deposit information. 7. Calculate and manage government taxes. 8. Maintain the financial statements of assigned stores which include the monthly preparation of month end accruals, responding to exceptions based on pre-determined criteria, and preparing any adjusting entries as needed. 9.
