We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our client’s team in Calgary, Alberta.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare preliminary planning and cost estimates.Coordinate preliminary designs and budgets with electrical, mechanical, and field operations teams.Record and compare bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors.Develop Scope of Work (RFQ) specifications and bid pricing spreadsheets.Solicit vendor quotes in collaboration with the procurement team.Attend pre-bid and design meetings as required.Assist with preparing change orders for operations.Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.Perform estimating tasks such as material take-offs, coordination with union and non-union contractors, review and consolidation of third-party quotes, preparation and completion of final estimates, and submission of bid forms.Prepare detailed proposals and assist in responding to bid clarification questions.Identify opportunities to reduce equipment and ...
