Job Overview
Senior Equipment Engineer – responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and readiness of wafer fabrication equipment to support new product introduction and transfer activities at Applied Materials.
Key Responsibilities- Lead equipment readiness and process qualification for new product introductions.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering and R&D teams to define equipment requirements and specifications.
- Develop and execute equipment qualification plans, including installation, setup, and performance verification.
- Maintain and improve equipment uptime, reliability, and performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Drive preventive maintenance programs and optimize spare parts inventory.
