Job Objective: Perform a variety of engineering work to install, improve, and evaluate new and existing manufacturing equipment and processes. Understand internal and external customer requirements, align work product with capability to minimize the cost of poor quality and maximize customer satisfaction.
Essential JobFunctions:
Utilize appropriate statistical and data analysis tools within a structured problem-solving approachto characterize and improve existing processes, and to translate customer requirements into repeatable and capable manufacturingprocesses.
Plan, execute, and analyze multi-phase validation runs to determine if new equipment, processes, and tooling meet functional performancerequirements.
Develop and maintain Project Charters and Implementation Plans (includes establishingproject scope, anticipated gains, required resources, timelines,etc.)
