Job Description
Responsibilities
Mentor a team of engineers in Basic design to carry out Hull form and General arrangement development, Hydrodynamic and stability calculations for a tender or ongoing projects.
Assist in the development of new products.
Support other in-house departments and external parties, where required, by providing specialist technical advice and information.
To generate list of drawing/document specific to each project.
Prepare technical specifications for equipment procurement (e.g. major deck equipment) and perform technical evaluation of vendor’s bid.
Carry out naval architectural calculations, hydro dynamic analysis, stability calculations.
Prepare and review layout arrangement in accordance with building specification, rules, and regulations (fire, watertight integrity, accommodation layouts…)
Manage and check technical information of external suppliers of equipment and systems and coordinate/cooperate with engineers from other trades in the organiza...
