Keep MakePay reliable as payment volume and teams scale.

This role owns reliability, release quality, observability, and incident readiness for the MakePay platform. You will improve how the team deploys, monitors, investigates, and recovers payment-critical systems.

• Improve confidence in production releases for merchant payment flows.
• Reduce time to detect and resolve payment, webhook, and infrastructure issues.
• Create operational patterns that scale with regional hiring and higher transaction volume.

What you will own

• Improve observability, alerting, deployment workflows, incident response, and production runbooks.
• Partner with backend engineers on retries, queues, logs, metrics, tracing, and operational dashboards.
• Review infrastructure choices for reliability, cost, security, and developer velocity.
