The Role
- Design and own the architecture of the software delivery flow: pipelines, quality gates and the tools that connect them.
- Build and maintain the CI/CD platform so it stays reliable and performs well as usage grows.
- Automate operational and deployment tasks that currently fall on development or operations teams.
- Work with QA to embed automated quality and performance gates into the delivery flow.
- Define and publish the KPIs that show how the platform affects developer productivity and operational efficiency.
- Act as the senior technical reference: unblock complex problems and set engineering standards.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and help them grow.
- Work with development, operations and security teams to find friction and remove it.
