You'll design and operationalize security frameworks that bolster product observability and compliance. This position requires bridging development and security insights to create actionable detection mechanisms tailored to product needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect Ciena's Detection Engineering framework and compliance automation
• Set logging standards ensuring data consistency and SIEM optimization
• Transform security insights into reusable detection content
• Create metrics for evaluating detection effectiveness
• Mentor engineers on detection creation and event design
Requirements:
• 8+ years in security engineering or detection engineering
