Job Description
Flynn Canada Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Senior Designer to fill 2 vacancies in our Toronto and surrounding area (6435 Northwest Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L4V 1K2).
Responsibilities
- Recognize and solve basic and advanced Curtain wall/Window detailing issues; demonstrate understanding of basic curtain wall construction methods.
- Read and understand Architectural and Structural Drawings.
- Foresee, solve and address curtain wall issues as they arise.
- Read and review specifications providing input for potential risks.
- Organize and schedule projects and draftspersons.
- Resolve outstanding drawing issues and pursue contract clarifications as required.
- Supervise, coach, mentor and provide feedback to Jr. Draftsperson(s).
- Plan and execute Curtain Wall/Window shop and fabrication drawings with input from the design team.
