Job Description
What You'll Do
- Administer, manage, and optimise Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL databases across both Windows and Linux environments to ensure peak performance and reliability
- Plan and execute database installations, configurations, migrations, upgrades, and patch management across on-premise and cloud platforms
- Lead and drive cloud migration initiatives — evaluating, planning, and executing seamless database transitions to Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions including RAC, AlwaysOn, Streaming Replication, and related technologies
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies, including integration with third-party backup utilities
