Job Description

Senior Data Analytics Specialist to support the design and development of analytical data products and services for the data centre of excellence for a government client (JP)

Remote MST hours, possible on site meetings in Edmonton

Must haves:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered.
  • 6+ years Experience and comprehensive skills in using statistical and computer languages, e.g. R, Python, SQL
  • 6+ years Experience in building analytical and quantitative analysis models.
  • 6+ years Experience in preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
  • 5+ years Experience in understanding complex businesses questions and framing the right analytical question to solve a business problem.
  • 6+ years Experience with and understanding of different approaches and methods for data analytics and data science (e.g. complex statistical modelling).
