Job description The Senior Cloud Engineer is part of the Data Platform Infrastructure team and is responsible for designing, building, and operating the cloud infrastructure and deployment capabilities that power evoke’s Smart Data Platform (SDP). The role owns and supports critical platform capabilities across AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform/Terragrunt, GitLab CI/CD, Python automation, Apache Flink, OpenSearch, observability, monitoring, alerting, cost optimisation, and operational support. The engineer will help ensure that real-time data processing workloads are deployed reliably, monitored effectively, and operated safely across environments.The role directly supports platform resilience, scalable data infrastructure, real-time data processing, and strategic data initiatives such as Event Broker.
