Job Description
Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil/Structural Engineer – Nuclear to join our team in Mississauga/Bowmanville.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver civil/structural engineering design and analysis for nuclear facilities, including safety-related and non-safety-related structures
- Prepare engineering work packages ensuring budgets and schedules are met
- Define civil/structural project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule
- Develop and/or review civil/structural deliverables such as design basis documents, structural calculations, drawings, technical specifications, datasheets, and foundation, embedment, anchorage, and pipe/equipment support designs
- Apply nuclear codes and standards (e.g., CSA, ACI, AISC, ASCE, ASME) in regulated environments
- Perform seismic analysis and qualification of structures, systems and components
