Job Description
Minimum requirements:
- Matric with a Trade Test as an Instrumentation Technician
- National Diploma in Control & Instrumentation or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 7 years' post-trade experience within a fossil fuel power station or heavy industrial plant
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, control systems, calibration equipment, and plant maintenance
- Experience with electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Sound understanding of Permit to Work systems and plant safety regulations
- Computer literate (MS Office, MS Project, Maximo and AccPac advantageous)
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams
- Valid driver's licence advantageous
