Senior Business Developer - Renewable Energy

We are supporting our client in the Renewable Energy sector who is currently seeking a Senior Business Developer to be based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This role will report to the Regional Head of Business Development, and the roles responsibilities will include:

Possessing a detailed understanding of legislation pertaining to energy investments on the market and monitoring developments. Having a strong understanding of the competitive environment and perform analyses enabling the development of the organisation's business strategy. Developing a partner acquisition strategy. Identify, analyse, negotiate for, and secure business opportunities meeting the organisation's investment guidelines. These will include developments, acquisitions, participation in competitive processes (private and public), and commercial origination on a bilateral basis with large energy off-takers, in each case subject to budget and time constraints.
