Job Description
Design and build APIs and microservices on the existing Java/Spring Boot stack.Own the data model and integrations to systems and third parties (payment gateways, WhatsApp Business / SMS, mapping, identity).Hold the backend quality bar — code reviews, test authoring, SOC 2 / ISO 27001- aligned engineering practices in every new module.Partner with the Mobile Engineer on API contracts and BFF design; partner with DevOps on releases and observability.Operate AI-augmented engineering (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent) as the default workflow — design, code, test, document — and contribute prompt/workflow patterns back to the squad.Contribute to the reusable backend-capability layer builds for future engagements.
