Job Summary and Requirements

This posting is to fill a two‑year term anticipatory permanent position. The Senior Advisor is responsible for developing and providing strategies, recommendations, and direction on engagement, consultation, and accommodation with Indigenous groups for the Transportation Division. The position collaborates with colleagues within the branch and other Yukon government departments to ensure that Indigenous groups are engaged, aware of projects and activities, and that projects are delivered in a timely and effective manner. The work is fast‑paced, varied, and requires the ability to manage and prioritize several projects and tasks on a busy schedule.

Essential Qualifications

• Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Resource Management, First Nations Studies, Law, or a related discipline
