Responsibilities

As a senior project management advisor, you help execute cross‑sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You initiate, plan, and implement projects. You ensure best practices are followed, keep the focus on the overall project objective, and support work teams. You lead and influence development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors.

More specifically, you will be required to:

• Help teams implement agile development methods.
• Meet with practitioners to help them understand, introduce and apply agile principles.
• Understand practitioner concerns, challenges and resistance and provide support as needed.
• Develop and carry out activities to improve skills and agile processes.
• Ensure best practices are followed and keep all agile teams focused on the overall project objective.
• Coach professionals in your unit and other sectors.
