Special Educational Needs - Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a caring, patient and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in our Leeds Schools . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion and making a positive difference to children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND.
* Help pupils access learning by adapting activities under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo.
* Support pupils’ communication, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
* Promote a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
* Assist with recording progress and sharing observations with teaching staff.
* Support personal care and medical needs where required and appropriate training has been provided.
