Job Description
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicatedĀ SEN Teaching AssistantĀ to support several of our specialist education partners in Morpeth area.Ā
About the RoleĀ
You will provide tailored support to pupils with a range ofĀ additionalĀ needs, including SEMH, Autism (ASD), and Processing or Learning Difficulties (LD). Working closely with teachers and the SENCO,Ā youāllĀ help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills in a positive, inclusive environment.Ā
Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
Deliver personalised oneātoāone and smallāgroup supportĀ
Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needsĀ
Follow EHCPs and support plans to promote steady progressĀ
Support communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and behaviourĀ
Use visual supports, sensory tools, and alternative communication systemsĀ
Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing insights with staffĀ
Contribute to a calm, nurturing classroo...
