SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)
Newcastle Upon Tyne
£462.80 - £475 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
September 2026 – July 2027
The School and Role
A Primary School based in Newcastle are seeking to employ a SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time from September 2026. This role will be offering a mix of 1:1 and small group support to pupils in Key Stage 1 helping them to thrive both academically and socially. The school are looking for someone who can offer high-quality support and promote a safe and inclusive learing environment. This is a long-term role with potential to turn permanent.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferably have experience of working across school.
