£460 - £490 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
Vision for Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School in Ashington (NE63) from September 2026. The SEND Teaching Assistant appointed for the position will be supporting a child in EYFS on a 1:1 basis. This will include in-class support, as well as directed interventions as required, so some experience of complex needs would be desired. This is a ‘Good’ Primary School, where staff are committed to supporting each child and using adaptive strategies to meet children’s needs.
