Overview
Protocol Education is recruiting SEND experienced teaching assistants to an outstanding primary school in North Bristol for the next academic year. This dynamic school offers teaching assistants the chance to work 1:1 across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. There are many CPD opportunities on offer, including free Thrive training and access to Team Teach courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Work Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30.
- Maintain a year‑long role, offering consistent work.
- Support pupils with special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex needs.
- Teach students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Develop students’ communication and social awareness, and improve their academic performance.
- Assist in key subjects such as tailored numeracy and literacy.
- Support students in creative lessons such as art, music, swimming and cooking.
