SEND Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant role to work in the Cannock area in a 2-form entry “GOOD” OFSTED rated Primary School. This teaching assistant's role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 2 with Autism and challenging behaviour.

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience with Autism and challenging behaviour and any additional qualifications around SEND is desirable.

This role հերթ starts in ASAP and continues to July 2026 full‑time (8:30 am‑15:30 pm).

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
• Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND.
• Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA.
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
• A minimum of 2 excellent references.
• Recent UK school experience.
