Job Description
The Role
- Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Working with children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Supporting pupils' emotional, social, and academic development
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working with SEND pupils (essential)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
