SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 5 (1:1 Support)
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary
Start Date: 09/03/2026
Salary: £95 - £100 per day
Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training such as a recognised Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
Teach Now is recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil in a welcoming primary school in Barnet.
You will provide dedicated 1:1 support for a boy with ADHD and a background of trauma. He is kind and capable of building positive relationships but can struggle with emotional regulation, particularly when frustrated or when he perceives situations as unfair.
