Learning Support Assistant – Secondary Alternative Provision. Location: Tiptree area. Available from September 2026.
This specialist education setting seeks dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistants to work with secondary-aged pupils who face significant barriers to engaging with school. The focus of this role is to help learners rebuild confidence, re-establish positive routines, and gradually re‑engage with education in a structured and supportive environment.
Overview of the Role
You will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and pastorally, helping them to access learning in a way that meets their individual needs. Acting as a consistent and trusted adult, you will contribute to creating a calm, stable and encouraging environment where pupils can make meaningful progress over time.
