SEN Academic Mentor
 
Could you provide the steady support a Year 9 pupil with Autism needs to feel settled and successful in school? Are you looking for meaningful secondary SEN experience before moving into educational or clinical psychology?
 
*** SEN Academic Mentor
*** £85 - £100 per day
*** ‘Good’ secondary school, Willenhall
*** Start September 2026, finish July 2027
*** 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 9 with Autism
 
The Role:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 9 pupil with Autism across the school day. You will help the pupil follow routines, stay engaged in lessons, manage transitions, and access learning with greater confidence, while feeding back clearly to teachers and the SENCO. Schools are expected to follow the SEND Code of Practice and use a graduated approach to identify need, put support in place, and review its impact.
