Job Overview
Position: SEMH / SEND Teacher. Location: Godalming, Surrey. Type: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 08:00‑15:30. Salary: Paid to scale (National Teachers’ Pay Scale).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver differentiated, evidence‑based lessons that meet the individual learning plans of SEMH and SEND pupils.
- Conduct assessments, set realistic targets, and monitor progress, reporting outcomes to parents and senior staff.
- Implement therapeutic strategies, behaviour‑management plans, and pastoral support to promote wellbeing and resilience.
- Collaborate with class teachers, therapists, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive, whole‑school approach to inclusion.
- Contribute to the development and review of the school’s SEMH and SEND policies, sharing best practice across the faculty.
- Maintain accurate records, produce timely reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
