Security Operations Center Analyst

Responsibilities

• Experience as SOC Analyst or in a similar role
• Experience in the field of cyber security operations
• Working knowledge of SIEM, preferably IBM QRadar
• Knowledge of scripting with PowerShell or Python is a plus
• Assisting with automation of SOC tasks
• Providing SOC Tier 1 and 2 analysis work along with handling alerts, triage of cases and incidents inside the cyber security operations team
• Developing and creating cybersecurity analytics plus signatures to detect adversary tactics and methods
• Supporting and enhancing event parsing, log collection, storage, automation and monitoring

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Minimum 3+ years of process documentation experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
