Cleveland-Cliffs, Rockport Works is looking for a Section Manager Operations in our Finishing area. The Section Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in the CGL department. The Section Manager oversees shift managers, department admins, and operating crews as it pertains to safety, environmental, quality, and productivity to meet established annual plans. The Section Manager will also oversee the daily activities of section engineers and partner with the section maintenance and technical groups to achieve established metrics.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Overall management of day-to-day operations including safety, environmental, quality, production, maintenance, and unit/production sequence scheduling and crew scheduling
+ Provide work instruction and training to operating units to certify product quality meets the requirements of internal, external, customer, and IATF16949 standard
