Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Plan lessons, deliver high quality instruction, grade student work, maintain a record of grades, correspond with parents and effectively communicate with students
+ Ensure awareness of and compliance with student IEPs
+ Utilize curriculum resources and differentiate instruction to meet learner support needs
+ Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans
+ Deliver instruction and provide support for student social emotional learning
+ Prepare for and participate in student CSE meetings to facilitate student progress and aide in the identification of plans to address student support needs
+ Access and competently utilize IEP program to progress monitor for student goals and for IEP completion
+ Attend and participate in Special Education Department meetings and complete required Professional Development
