Job Description
Empower Indigenous students and enhance curriculum relevance as a Secondary Indigenous Education Leader at the TCDSB. Foster systemic integration of Indigenous perspectives in high school settings across Toronto.
The Toronto Catholic District School Board is hiring an Indigenous Resource Teacher to support secondary education efforts focused on Indigenous knowledge implementation. This three-year term role will engage educators, deepen culturally responsive teachings, and advance Indigenous initiatives, guided by the TCDSB’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with secondary teachers to embed Indigenous knowledge
• Lead initiatives for culturally relevant pedagogies and instruction
• Conduct training sessions on Indigenous education practices
• Support inclusive environments and student success strategies
• Liaise with community partners to facilitate cultural engagement
