Job Description
Become a Dual Role School Nutrition Assistant/Bus Driver with Chatham County Schools in Seaforth. Engage directly with students while preparing and serving meals in a supportive environment.
This permanent, 30-hour per week role allows you to combine your culinary skills and customer service expertise during the school year. Responsibilities include food preparation, effective communication, and compliance with health and safety policies while interacting daily with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare healthy meals, including various dishes and salads
• Keep detailed documentation of food counts
• Clean and maintain a sanitized kitchen area
• Process payments at the point of sale
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff
Requirements:
• Required to be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
