• The name intends to indicate someone who is an expert at Scrum (and other agile methods and toolsets) and can therefore coach others.
• The Scrum Master is also responsible for improving interactions between agile delivery teams and the organisation in which they operate, in order to maximise productivity and value delivery.
• The Scrum Master is responsible for coordinating and facilitating team interactions.
• The Scrum Master coaches teams on how to self-organize and make changes quickly, in accordance with agile principles and values.
• The Scrum Master manages the process for how information is exchanged.
