Job Description
The School Nurse will be responsible for promoting and protecting the health and well being of students and staff. The role includes providing first aid, managing chronic health conditions, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with DHA and KHDA health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily health assessments and provide immediate medical care.
- Manage student health files and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Administer medications in accordance with DHA guidelines.
- Monitor immunization records and ensure compliance.
- Support school health awareness programs.
- Coordinate with parents regarding student health concerns.
- Ensure the school clinic meets DHA inspection standards.
- Assist in emergency response procedures and drills.
- Report communicable diseases per DHA protocols.
- Support overall school safety and well being initiatives.
