Join a dynamic team in Eldridge, Iowa as a 2nd Shift Machine Operator. Operate modern LD cut-off machines designed to produce cut-to-length tubes or solid bar stocks. This role involves ensuring the correct setup of feed-tubes and collets, adjusting tools to specifications, and preparing finished pieces for the next operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate single-spindle, lathe-type machines to produce cut-to-length tubes or solid bar stocks.
• Ensure the correct feed-tubes and collets are in place and adjust length, cut, and chamfer tools to specifications.
• Deburr finished pieces and pack them for transport to the next operation.
• Regularly lift 25+ pounds and perform tasks while standing, sitting, and walking.
• Read and interpret blueprints and perform calculations using fractions and decimals.
