Job Responsibilities
- Address and resolve database incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor events, handle alerts, and manage database outages to restore services quickly.
- Process service requests for database changes and enhancements.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring database issues.
- Support the implementation of standard and custom database builds.
- Provide operational support for HANA and MS-SQL databases.
- Ensure adherence to backup and recovery processes.
- Optimize database performance and manage alert monitoring.
- Decommission systems/servers following proper protocols as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- Strong experience with HANA and MS-SQL databases.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on HANA and MS-SQL..
