- Blast steel and structural surfaces to required cleanliness standards SA 2.5 / SA 3 per ISO 8501-1 and project specs.
- Operate blasting equipment safely, including compressors, hoses, nozzles, dead-man switch, and air-fed PPE.
- Achieve specified surface profile 50-75 microns using replica tape as directed by QC.
- Conduct pre-start checks on abrasive quality, air oil/water tests, and equipment integrity.
- Maintain the correct blasting angle, distance and technique to avoid surface damage.
