**Job Description**
Join a busy fabrication and coatings team as a Sandblaster responsible for preparing metal surfaces for painting, coating, and finishing. You will use abrasive blasting and related preparation methods to remove rust, mill scale, old coatings, and other contaminants, ensuring high-quality finishes on steel and other metal components in a custom shop environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare metal surfaces for painting, coating, and finishing by removing rust, mill scale, old coatings, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment.
+ Perform paint preparation activities including grinding, sanding, and general surface prep to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.
+ Carry out sandblasting operations safely and efficiently, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
