Job Description
**_POSITION SUMMARY:_**
The Sample Coordinator collects and processes all merchant samples and generates ‘store use’ forms to acquire samples needed by Creative Services for catalog, Internet and Marketing promotions, and the collection and distribution of all sample merchandise earmarked for special BPS events. Each sample received is accurately logged, tracked, and distributed or otherwise appropriately disposed of.
**_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_**
+ Uses catalog outlines and reports to determine what samples need to be ordered from the warehouse, retail stores, or from the merchant, and then completes the appropriate forms to acquire each sample.
+ Enters required information in to the Creative Services database (File Maker Pro) to generate a label which is applied to the appropriate color coded tag describing the sample type and to aid in the final disposition of the sample.
+ Enters periodic updates specific to each sample throughout the creative process...
