Lumenrock Garden Route is looking for amotivated individual to join our team as a SAIPA Trainee Accountant!
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting, studying towards a SAIPA accredited degree inaccounting
Comprehensiveunderstanding of accounting practices and procedures
Experience withfinancial software (Pastel/Sage Online/Xero) and knowledge of Draftworxwill be advantageous
Fully bilingual: English and Afrikaans
Valid driver’slicense
Duties and Responsibilities
Independent review of financial statements
Processing invoices and bank transactions
Bank account and creditor/debtor reconciliation
Preparation and submission of VAT201 returns, VAT reviews, andaudits
Preparation of year-to-date VAT reconciliation and managementaccounts
Keeping your SAIPA logbook up to date
