# Safety RepresentativeHome / Safety Representative**Location:**Kathu,Northern Cape,South AfricaAfrimat Logistics, based in Jenkins Mine (Kathu) has a vacancy for a:## Safety Representative##### Minimum Qualifications / Experience* Education: Grade 12 and relevant HSE certifications (e.g., SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, COMSOC or OSHA).* Experience: Excellent knowledge of mining/construction compliance and regulatory frameworks.* Strong understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Mine Health and Safety Act.* Proven ability to manage safety files and implement safe working procedures.* Resilient, organized, and capable of maintaining a strong safety presence on-site* Must have a valid driver’s license* Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kathu/surrounding Northern Cape areas.##### Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):* Compliance & Administration: Complete and maintain comprehensive site safety files to satisfy both employer and client requirements.* Risk Managem...
