The primary purpose of this position is to manage the MAJCOM-level Weapons Safety Program for a complex multi-mission command supporting fighter, bomber, conventional and nuclear weapons systems operations, and provide advisory weapons safety duties to a number of ACC and Air Force level staffagencies, committees, and working groupse. Responsibilities Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates activities necessary to the overall management of a diverse and comprehensive weapons safety program supporting a complex multi-mission MAJCOM which critically affect a major military readiness program. Performs periodic inspections, evaluations, and surveys of wing-level weapons operations and related facilities, equipment, and training programs.
